Tiffany is a licensed associate professional counselor (LAPC) working towards her full license (LPC - licensed professional counselor) in Pennsylvania. This process is similar to a doctor’s residency period - Tiffany has completed all of her education and training, but is practicing under the supervision of an LPC until she has gained enough hours for her full license.

Who Am I?

Hello! I’m Tiffany Davison (she/her/hers). I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate the often messy, sometimes bittersweet, and often overwhelming transitions of life. Whether you are a student facing the pressures of school or college life, an adult experiencing a major life shift, or someone working through the complexities of sobriety, I am here to help you find your footing.

I love working with:

  • The “overthinkers” - people who feel weighed down by anxiety, needing a way to quiet the noise and reconnect with what truly matters in life

  • Teens and young adults who are struggling with school-related anxiety, poor self-esteem, or the unique pressures of transitioning to adulthood

  • Adults who are navigating the path of sobriety and are looking to rediscover who they are outside of their addiction

  • Anyone experiencing a “new normal” due to a recent life change (positive or negative, wanted or unwanted)

How I Help

I approach therapy as a collaborative partnership. I believe that while I bring the clinical tools, you are the expert on your own lived experience. Together, we work to untangle the thoughts and patterns that keep you feeling stuck, making room for a life that feels more authentic and meaningful to you.

My approach is grounded in warmth, empathy, and the belief that you don’t have to “fix” yourself to be worthy of a good life. I strive to create a safe space where you can be yourself without judgment. I believe in allowing you to guide the pace and direction of your journey while walking beside you every step of the way. My approach combines support, validation, and encouragement with thoughtful challenges to help you grow. My goal is to help you build the skills to face life’s challenges while tailoring my approach to meet your individual needs.

I am currently deepening my practice through training in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). In ACT, rather than just trying to “get rid” of difficult feelings, I help you build the psychological flexibility to carry those feelings differently. We focus on identifying what really matters to you (AKA your core values), and taking small, committed steps towards them, even when life feels heavy.

What it’s like in a session with me

In our sessions, you can expect a grounded and professional environment that still feels human. I like to think of our work together like cultivating a garden: we’ll spend time "weeding out" habits and thoughts that no longer serve you, while carefully nourishing the parts of yourself you want to see bloom.

You’ll find that I am a steady presence beside you. We might use mindfulness to stay present, explore the stories your mind tells you, or practice tangible skills like boundary setting and communication. You set the pace; I provide the map and the encouragement. My goal is for you to leave our sessions feeling heard, validated, and a little more equipped to handle whatever the week throws at you.

More about me

When I'm not working, I'm usually cuddling with my two cats, binging TV shows with my boyfriend, or attempting to keep my infinitely growing collection of plants alive. I love getting lost in a book, or Stardew Valley where I live out my dream of being a farmer. I also enjoy spending time in nature and laughing with my family.

"What matters is not the meaning of life in general, but the specific meaning of a person’s life at a given moment.”
